The Strategic Planning Phase involves:

  1. From A to Z - From registering trademarks to preparing UFDD’s to collecting royalties, we will guide you through the whole process.

  2. Unit Growth Position – the strategic addition of new units in targeted markets. Goals will be set and strategies formulated to determine the best methods to achieve growth.

  3. Does an Area Development, AR program fit your business model? This question will be interwoven with the unit growth position question. Some business models are not suited for an Area Development program but here at FT!, we have found tremendous success with those models that can implement an AD model. Please refer to The Skinny on Area Development. The AD model is unique because it allows for the franchisor to have designated Area Representatives selling the franchise in defined territories with regulated guidelines.

    Thus, the franchisor removes some of the hassle involved with sales on a large scale basis BUT does not lose any of the control that can sometimes come with Area sales. Further, once the territories have been succinctly defined, then the overall strategies for unit growth can be formulated and then implemented. The Area Development program gives a foundation for your sales system to have sales on a large scale basis across the country.
